Terms of use

The service

ShortsRank (shortsrank.com) is a browser tool that arranges clips you already have into a vertical countdown and lets you download that video file. Preview and export run in your browser. The site does not upload those clips to a ShortsRank server.

The service is operated by an individual operator based in China. Contact hello@shortsrank.com. ShortsRank is not a company storefront for CapCut, TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, and it is not affiliated with them.

One-time purchase

The free tier may export a limited countdown with a watermark and a lower resolution. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, intended at $24 USD, for a higher clip count, a longer per-clip cap, a 1080×1920 export, and no watermark. It is not a subscription, not a team seat, and not a promise of future templates, auto-posting, music licensing, or a cloud render queue.

The unlock is applied only after a payment is verified on our server; nothing stored in your browser grants it. A purchase on another domain does not unlock ShortsRank.

Payments

Card checkout is processed by Waffo as the payment processor and merchant of record for the ShortsRank store. Waffo collects the payment, appears on the charge, and handles the buyer-facing payment terms. ShortsRank does not store your card number. Waffo may refuse, reverse, or refund a charge under its own rules as well as under the refund policy below.

Refunds

Email hello@shortsrank.com within 7 days of the charge if the exporter cannot produce a playable vertical file on a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge, you tell us the browser version and the error text, and we cannot fix it or give you a working export path in that window. Refunds are not available for files you dislike creatively, for clips you did not have rights to, or for a third-party platform rejecting a post.

If a charge happens by mistake, email the same address and include the time and the email on the receipt. We will treat an unintended charge as a refund case even inside the 7 days. Approved refunds are sent back through Waffo, the merchant of record, to the original payment method. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived still apply.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to harass someone, or to probe the hosting in a way that degrades it for other people. Do not misrepresent a ShortsRank export as an official file from another company. Do not use stolen cards, file false chargebacks, or share a paid unlock as if it were a public license for other people. Only add footage and audio you are allowed to edit and publish.

Intellectual property

You keep the rights you already had in your clips, titles, and audio. ShortsRank does not take a license to host or redistribute them, because processing happens in the browser and the files are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for those rights, including any person who needed to agree to be in the clip. Do not build a countdown from footage you do not have permission to edit or publish. Broadcast sports, other people’s streams, and commercial music are common cases where the answer is no.

The ShortsRank name, page design, and editor code stay with the operator. CapCut, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram are their owners’ names. Comparison pages are descriptions, not endorsements.

Disclaimer

The service and exported files are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Browsers differ. A file that plays on your machine can still be rejected by an app for length, codec, or rights. We do not warrant view counts, account standing, or that a ranking format will keep working on a platform. Export time is roughly the length of the short, because the file is rendered in real time. Very large source files can stall a tab. The editor warns past 60 MB and refuses past 180 MB for that reason.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost profits, lost clips, or platform penalties arising from how you use an export, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for a claim about the lifetime purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that one-time purchase. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited, including fraud or injury caused by negligence where a statute forbids that limit.

Term and Termination

These terms apply for as long as you use the site. You may stop at any time. There is no account to close. If you violate acceptable use, we may suspend or end access to checkout or to the site. Waffo may independently refuse or reverse a payment as merchant of record. Ending access for a violation is not itself a refund.

The sections on your clips and intellectual property, refunds, the disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and this survival sentence stay in effect after access ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply where the law does not allow this sentence to remove them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product or the payment setup changes. The date at the top changes when the terms change. The new terms apply to use after that date. If you do not agree, stop using the site. Continuing to use the editor after a change means you accept the new terms for later use.
